Things we are Thankful for

We celebrated Thanksgiving with a Thankful tree.  This was an idea that Jared read about in the Friend magazine a year ago, and remembered when I suggested making a Thankful turkey like the one we made last year.  We started at family home evening, and added leaves to our tree all week before we said our evening prayers.
B had a hard time getting his tape to stick to the wall instead of his fingers, but he loved the idea.
On Thanksgiving morning, Jared woke me up to take him on a walk.  Just over a mile from home I rolled my ankle, making my foot super sore for the next few days.  Fortunately Jordanne rescued us by making most of the dinner.  The dinner was beautiful, but I didn't get any pictures.  We might just have Jordanne make Thanksgiving dinner for us every year, since it turned out better than if I had made it.
We spent the morning after Thanksgiving in urgent care to learn that my foot was not broken, and it was only a couple of days before it started feeling much better.
I did get pictures of my attempt to get the kids to eat more leftovers.  Run, run, as fast as you can.  You can't catch me, I'm leftovers man!

With a good job, a healthy family, a new baby on the way, and countless other blessings, we have a lot to be Thankful for this year.  Now bring on Christmas!
