Two months

Look who turned two months old on Saturday!  Where has the time gone?
Benjamin doesn't get a lot of attention during the day, since his brother and sister always need something, but he doesn't seem to mind.  He likes to lie on a blanket and suck on his fist, or watch Jared and Eloise play.  He spends a good portion of the day like this:
He sleeps like a champ strapped to me.  I can change his sister's diapers, wash dishes, do laundry, and do almost anything around the house without him waking up.

I took Benjamin to a studio for some newborn portraits.  This is what he wore:
He was good for the pictures, but Eloise screamed and cried every time the flash went off.

Benjamin has rolled over three times in his life, but not recently.  Now that he has discovered his fist, he usually is pretty happy to lie on his tummy.  He hardly even wiggles, and he often falls asleep.  Benjamin loves music, and will calm down whenever he hears any singing or instrumental music.  Jared loves to sing to him, which is very helpful if Benjamin is fussy and I can't pick him up right away.
The thrush that Benjamin has had since he was two weeks old has finally cleared up, since he got a new prescription at his doctor's appointment on Monday.  It is a relief to me to not have to coat his mouth with medicine four times a day anymore.
At two months old, Benjamin weighs 11 lbs. 8.5 oz., putting him in the 65th percentile, and he is 22.5 inches tall/long (exactly the same as Jared at this age), putting him in the 45th percentile.  Benjamin is a sweet, quiet, comfortable little soul, and a joy to our family.
