Celebrations

Todd and I went a little crazy with our end of school year/graduation celebrations this year. Instead of Todd dressing in a cap and gown and sitting through a boring ceremony, we decided to take a road trip to Utah for Anni and Ryan's wedding. . .
where Anni looked like a princess. Congratulations guys! Not satisfied with the extent of our celebrating, and since that road trip was a little before the end of the semester anyway, we decided to have another party, camping with Todd's family at Patagonia. . .
Rachel, our 18 month old niece, had a great time feeding "gucks" and mimicking everything Grandpa said, howsoever inappropriate, and wearing a doo-rag to scare off the other children. We all had a great time rowing around in an inflatable raft and swimming in murky water. We could have quit partying then, but I had a birthday in there somewhere, and we were on a roll, so we took a trip to Hawaii.
In Hawaii we snorkeled with sea turtles and tons of fish. . .
Visited pineapple in their natural habitat. . .

Played on the beach. . .
Partied Island-style. . .
Took in some gorgeous views. . .
Toured a submarine and visited the USS Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor. . .
And finally said goodbye to Hawaii with our friends Dan, Katie, Bud, and Karen. All partied out after Hawaii, we returned to Tucson to find ourselves temporarily homeless. We moved in with Todd's parents for five days before leaving for our new home in San Mateo, CA. We found a great apartment surprisingly fast. Todd is now adjusting to real world working, while I focus full time on making a baby, getting our apartment organized, and my fun and exhausting water aerobics class. We're looking forward to a visits from Bud and Annika and Ryan this week and the rest of you as soon as you can get here!

We miss you guys!
